Exciting times in our Staff Meeting!

Here we are sitting in our staff meeting, sharing good ideas. Thanks to Shiralee Sands and Steve Ross for showing me how to use Thinglink. My challenge to myself is to use this with the students on Friday in R8. I know that the students will be fabulous...let's hope I can rise to the challenge!

  1. Hello Miss McGrath Congratulations on using thinglink. Do you like using Thinglink?. Would you recommend the book Gobbolino to anyone else? Is it a good book? Where did you get this book from?

If you would like to see my learning blog here is the link http://wpsmaanovb.blogspot.co.nz/

  2. Hi Maanov, I particularly like the story of Gobbolino because despite all the problems and difficulties in his path, Gobbolino shows integrity and resilience in dealing with them. And of course, he is a cat - so that helps me enjoy the book all the more. I first read the book from my Y3 teacher's bookshelf when I was at school. However, I read it again and again, and when I was reflecting upon that one day a couple of years ago, someone listened to what I was saying and brought me a surprise copy for my birthday. So now, I get to enjoy reading it to students. Do you have a particular book that in 30 years time, you think you might like reading to other people?
